Jeffrey was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church in January, 2009, after he completed a Master of Divinity degree from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific. Jeffrey also holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Counseling. As a public educator for more than twenty years, Jeffrey taught at the elementary level and then worked to support academic programs at both the middle school and the high school levels. These experiences have helped make an easy transition to ministry. His favorite pastimes include hiking, cooking, and travel. Jeffrey enjoys the controlled chaos of Southern California and hangs out with the charming Chiquita, his Bassett Hound.
Jeffrey will be leading this year’s Advent Clergy Conference, focusing on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
“We can define spirituality as the expansion of our individual consciousness through a relationship with Jesus. I will explain how this can occur through following The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, and I will open the space through which each of you can experience God in all things. This experience will be an opportunity to experience radical freedom and the possibility of reorienting your life in astonishing ways to have what you really want.”
