To all Wardens, Treasurers and Clergy,

Blessings to you on this New Year and in this season of Epiphany. The Bishop, along with the Chancellor, Diocesan Treasurer and I, are inviting all Wardens, Treasurers and any other Vestry/Bishop’s Committee/Chapter members to a conference at ECCO scheduled for February 8 & 9.

The purpose of this conference is to walk lay leaders through Episcopal polity, leadership skills, and best practices for churches. We will cover a variety of topics that will encourage and empower church leaders to do their ministries in the best possible way.

We are scheduling this conference after annual meetings are concluded, with the expectation that all Wardens and Treasurers will attend. Friday we will begin at 4pm with topics specific to Wardens and Treasurers, and the conference will conclude on the afternoon of the 9th. Vestry/Bishop’s Committee Members/Chapter members are invited to attend on Saturday beginning at 9am.

A private room is $147/person, a double room is $102/person, and a quad room (up to 4 people) is $97/person. The price includes lodging and meals. For those attending Saturday only, registration is $25 to cover lunch and materials.

We ask that clergy and outgoing Wardens/Treasurers please discuss this now with incoming Wardens/Treasurers, as it is vitally important that they attend, as well as making a reservation to hold their spot at ECCO. Feel free to contact me with questions.
